Party FAQ

Do I need to book a Party in advance?

It is recommended that you do book in advance as to avoid disappointment, especially at weekends and during school holidays.

How do I book a Party?

To book a party proceed to the book now tab. Confirmation of booking will be sent to you when successfully completed. To book a party please book online on www.j4j.co.za click on the location that the party will be hosted. Then click the Book a Party tab and complete the booking form. All requests will be responded to within 48 hours by the events management team. An Invoice will be generated and sent to you. Please note a 50% deposit is required upon booking in order to confirm your party in our booking system (Please refer to our cancellation policy below)

When must numbers be confirmed by?

Party numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before the day of the party. If you arrive on the day with less numbers, you will be charged as per you confirmed booking. If you wish to increase numbers, please let us know as soon as possible. While we will always endeavour to accommodate, your request, it may not always be possible as we have a restriction on numbers for safety purposes and to ensure that all customers enjoy their experience.

Is there a minimum number for parties?

The minimum number for a party is 10 people. We can however cater for parties of 40+ if required. Please contact us directly if you require a full park hire.

When should I order the party food?

Please advise us of your refreshment order when you book your party, which can be done either online or telephonically. You are welcome to amend your order up to 7 days prior to the day of the party, after which your order cannot be amended. You can order extra refreshments if required.

How long before my jump time starts do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your session starts. This allows you time to book in, collect your Jump4Joy socks, Wrist Band  and watch the safety briefing.

Do you have a dedicated Party Area (Room)?

Yes, you do. On Arrival you will be allocated a designated party room or Area.

Do parents need to stay at the party?

The birthday parents are required to be present for the duration of the party and we request one additional adult per five children so if you have 15 children we expect the parents and one other adult to be present.u00a0Most importantly please note that the parent(s) hosting the partyu00a0are responsible for the children attendingu00a0the party from the time they arriveu00a0until they have been collected by their own parent(s) / guardian(s). Parents must also be present in the party room when refreshments and the party food is being served.

Why do I need to wear Jump4Joy grip socks?

The use of Jump4Joyp grip socks is mandatory due to the trampoline surfaces being of a non-grip design and texture, standard socks, trainer socks and nylon will not grip and could cause injury to the user, so Jump4Joy socks must be worn for the safety of the users.

Can the party be started in the party room?

As full tummies and jumping are not an ideal mix, the party begins on the trampolines and once the jumping time has expired the kids move to the party area / room where they may be served with the refreshments. No eating or drinking are allowed on trampolines for safety reasons.

Can younger siblings participate on the trampolines?

If the party boy / girl has younger brothers / sisters they can join in if they areu00a0overu00a04 years of age.u00a0Please ensure that this policy is strictly adhered to. The siblings will be charged as normal party guests.

When is final payment due?

Final payment is due 7 days prior to your party booking date, but can be amended or refunded up to 7 days before the actual party. We accept cash, credit and debit card.

What is your cancellation policy for birthday parties?

Parties can be amended or cancelled anytime up to 7 days before the scheduled event without any charges. If you cancel within 7 days, your refund will be subject to a late cancellation charge of R1300. (If you book within the 7-day period the booking cannot be cancelled / moved without incurring a late cancellation charge of R1300).

What happens if I am late?

If we are busy then you will only be able join what remain of your time booked. During quieter periods we will endeavour to slot you in as close to your preferred time as possible. In order to ensure you get to enjoy the full duration of your jump session make sure you arrive at LEAST 30 minutes before your scheduled jump time.

Waiver – Does everyone jumping need to have one?

Yes, however we will have in place group waivers also meaning one person can sign for a group/Family to be connected to the Signed waiver, and these will be valid once signed for 12 Months thereafter.
