Covid-19 Measures
Our trampoline community is like our family, and like all families, we look out for each other. So, when we sat down to put the new safety measures in place, we went beyond the guidelines to enable safe park usage for your family. We’ve always been dedicated to providing the safest trampoline park in the country and this includes cleanliness. Now we are taking it to an even higher level.
Our NEW safety measures are listed below. As always, we welcome the feedback of all jumpers and will be using this to fine tune everything as we re-open ready for some super Jumpin’ fun over the summer holidays!
Your safety, welfare and enjoyment of our services are of the upmost priority and we want to assure you that we have taken steps to help minimise the spread of COVID-19.
On Court Safety
- All jumpers must use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the court area
Our trampolines are 2.5 m wide to allow for physical distancing fun on court
On court our jump crew will wear protective face buffs and help keep everyone safe
Some of our facilities may be out of action due to their high touch design. You will be notified upon entry.
From time to time areas may be out of action for cleaning, however due to reduced capacity this will not affect access to all open facilities for some time during the session
Any first aid that is needed will be administered with extra safety protection for all
Cafe Safety
Families and groups will have designated seating area. Please note that to enable physical distancing from other we ask that where possible only 1 adult accompanies the jumpers.
We have a new way of ordering form your table to allow you to relax, enjoy and stay safe whilst waiting for your freshly prepared barista coffee’s and snacks to be delivered
If you do need to queue at the café please keep to the magic dots and use contactless payments
We ask that to help keep our jump crew safe you put all your rubbish in the recycle and general bins provided
Reduced Capacity & Jump Sessions available
Our Jump area capacity has been reduced by at least 50% to enable social and physical distancing
Sessions will be staggered throughout the day
We ask that all supervising adults remain in the café or designated seating area and do not go onto court without agreement from the Duty Manager. This is to enable us to maintain our safe physical distancing trampoline ratios. If your child requires help on court please alert us on check in and our team will follow protocol to keep everyone safe
Cleaning Procedures
Hand sanitiser, hand soap and disinfectant sprays will be readily available for use by all throughout the park
A dedicated Jump Crew will be on site everyday working their way systematically around the park to disinfect all higher contact areas on and off the park
Daily fog sessions to ensure ALL areas of the park including equipment is covered with disinfectant to prevent the spread of any germs, bacteria or viruses.
Social Distancing
We are only accepting Online bookings when we re-open. No walk-in slots will be available. Please email enquiries@j4j.co.za to book your time slot.
We have installed signage from entry, all around the park, to the exit. Please read and follow all signage and floor markings ensuring all children are supervised and understand too.
Just a friendly reminder that the adult accompanying all young jumpers is responsible for ensuring our new safety measures are followed. Thank you!
Jump Crew Health Check
Our Jump Crew will be fully trained prior to re-starting work to ensure they are healthy and ready to work
All Jump Crew members will receive a temperature check at the start of their shift.
Every Jump Crew member will be fully briefed every day on maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards
Reduced Contact during Book-In and Check-In
Please arrive 10 minutes before your Jump session with your email booking confirmation ready
Please use the hand sanitiser provide upon entry
Our teams will be behind safety screens and there will be magic dots for you and your children to follow to keep you all safe
Sign the safety register as well as waiver upon arrival.
Grab your wristbands (please put on your own children) and socks and head to your allocated table
New jump socks are required for every session to help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
Our tables will be set up to enable social distancing with plenty of signage to help guide you
Listen for the announcer for instructions for the start of your jump session
We encourage you to leave all unnecessary valuables at home or with you.
Jump Family Guest Responsibility
We ask that if anyone in your group is displaying any symptoms of Covid 19 or has come into contact with anyone displaying symptoms you call us on 031 100 0166 to reschedule the jump session for at least 14 days later.
Please respect our Jump Crew and signage guidance to ensure physical distancing is maintained. This keeps everyone comfortably safe and will enable a fun family day out
We encourage all supervisors to accompany their children to the toilets to help everyone keep distancing
Temperature check at reception
General Health Guidelines
Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
